On Monday, Denver men’s hockey released its 2025-26 schedule, featuring a late November non-conference clash against the Gophers. The game, part of the annual U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game, will take place at Ball Arena, home of the Colorado Avalanche.
Minnesota has yet to release its official 2025-26 schedule, but Denver’s announcement confirms a matchup between the two teams. This will mark the first meeting since 2013, when both were part of the WCHA. The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game, set for Thanksgiving weekend at Ball Arena, will have its date and time announced later, per Denver.
The Gophers’ game against Denver adds to a tough non-conference schedule, including an October series at rival North Dakota. For WCHA fans, 2025 brings the revival of two classic Minnesota rivalries.
