Ravens Make 18 Undrafted Free Agent Signings After 2025 NFL Draft
With the 2025 NFL Draft wrapped up, the Baltimore Ravens wasted no time bolstering their roster even further. After making 11 draft picks over three days, General Manager Eric DeCosta and the front office immediately turned to undrafted free agency to continue building depth.
Despite already adding a large rookie class, the Ravens stayed true to their long-standing tradition of taking undrafted free agency seriously—something they’ve mastered over the years. From past success stories like Priest Holmes, Gus Edwards, Patrick Ricard, and even current defensive coordinator Zach Orr, Baltimore has developed a reputation for discovering and developing overlooked talent.
The team still had depth concerns, especially along the defensive line, prompting a quick wave of UDFA signings.
Notable UDFA Additions:
Among the 18 players added, linebacker Jay Higgins from Iowa stands out. Fresh off a standout season with four interceptions and All-American honors, he’s known for his instincts and productivity despite being slightly undersized.
Desmond Igbinosun, a physical, experienced defensive back from Rutgers, also brings intrigue. At 6’2″, 213 pounds, his reliable tackling and special teams potential make him a solid roster candidate.
Sone Ntoh, a power back from Monmouth, led the FCS with 25 rushing touchdowns in 2024. His hard-nosed running style fits the Ravens’ mold and could position him as a future contributor—especially with Derrick Henry on a short-term deal.
Jared Penning, an offensive lineman from Northern Iowa and brother of Saints first-rounder Trevor Penning, adds versatility up front and reminds some of former Raven Patrick Mekari.
