Brian Kelly’s LSU Tigers continue to compete for the highly sought-after wide receiver, who has revealed his four finalists. Ethan “Boobie” Feaster, a four-star wide receiver from DeSoto (Tex.), is currently navigating a crucial offseason in his recruitment as several powerhouse programs battle for his commitment.

Feaster, who made the decision to reclassify from the 2027 recruiting cycle to the 2026 class in February, was previously ranked as the No. 1 receiver in his original class. Despite skipping his junior year to advance to his senior season at DeSoto (Tex.), the 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver remains a top-five wideout in the 2026 cycle.

The reclassification has allowed Feaster to take a step closer to college football, as he prepares for the next chapter. “I’ve accomplished a lot in high school, and my parents and I felt it was time to move forward,” Feaster explained to Rivals. “I feel ready for the next step, and as long as I’m prepared, I’ll be fine.”

Feaster’s recruitment continues to heat up, with LSU emerging as a major contender. “I really like the LSU staff,” Feaster shared. “Many of them are from Louisiana, and they aren’t planning to leave, which is important. With so many coaches leaving for the NFL these days, I appreciate stability.”

Now, Feaster has narrowed his list to four schools, with a commitment date set for July 4. His final contenders include LSU, USC, Texas A&M, and Alabama. Feaster plans to announce his decision on July 4, as reported by On3 Sports.

LSU and USC stand out to Feaster due to their proven track records of developing NFL-caliber wide receivers. “I think LSU and Ohio State, then USC, are the top programs for receivers,” Feaster told On3 Sports. “Coach Dennis Simmons and Lincoln Riley have created a dynamic passing and running game at USC, and I really like their culture.”

As of now, LSU is the favorite to land Feaster, though Texas A&M is gaining momentum in his recruitment, according to multiple reports.

Feaster, one of the nation’s top wideouts, will begin his official visit season soon. He is set to visit LSU from June 20-22 for a multi-day stay in Baton Rouge, where he will meet with the Tigers alongside several other key recruits.
