Michigan State Football Gains Ground with 3-Star Florida Safety Kallen Martinez
Michigan State is quickly emerging as a serious contender for Kallen Martinez, a three-star defensive back from Seffner, Florida. The Armwood High School standout recently received a scholarship offer from the Spartans and has since scheduled an official visit to East Lansing on June 19, per 247Sports.
Martinez, listed at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, is currently rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals. He has a limited number of offers so far, with Michigan State being one of just five programs pursuing him. Other offers include Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Miami (OH), and UConn.
He also confirmed an official visit to UConn on May 30, the only other such trip scheduled at this point.
