The Oregon Ducks football program has solidified its status as a recruiting powerhouse with its 2025 signing class, securing 19 high school prospects in the early signing period, bolstered by nine key transfers. Ranked No. 2 by 247Sports and among the top five nationally, this class marks a program record for the highest rating per commit and the most five-star signees, showcasing head coach Dan Lanning’s recruiting prowess.
Leading the charge are five-star recruits Dakorien Moore, the nation’s top wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, known for his elite speed, and Na’eem Offord, a cornerback from Birmingham, Alabama, who flipped from Ohio State with 73 high school tackles. Safety Trey McNutt from Ohio adds versatility, while four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr., son of Ducks legend Akili Smith, brings a 65.2% completion rate and 72 career touchdowns. The offensive line is fortified with flips like Alai Kalaniuvalu from BYU and Douglas Utu from Tennessee, both from powerhouse Bishop Gorman, alongside local talent Zac Stascausky from Portland.
Defensively, Oregon added four-star cornerbacks Brandon Finney and Dorian Brew, with Brew’s sub-11-second 100-meter speed, and defensive lineman Matthew Johnson, who recorded 8.5 sacks as a senior. Tight end DaSaahn Brame and running back Jordon Davison further deepen the offensive talent pool. Local kicker Rocco Graziano from Eugene rounds out the class, set to enroll post-graduation.
Despite losing quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and wide receiver Dallas Wilson before enrollment, Oregon’s class excels with 11 early enrollees who joined Rose Bowl practices. Transfers like running back Makhi Hughes and safety Dillon Thieneman address immediate needs, positioning the Ducks for another Big Ten title run in 2025. This recruiting haul cements Oregon’s place among college football’s elite.
