Broncos Could Target Jets’ $9M RB Breece Hall to Support Bo Nix

The Denver Broncos addressed their running back needs in the draft by selecting RJ Harvey in the second round. While Harvey is expected to be the starting back in 2025, NFL Spin Zone’s Lou Scataglia believes the team could go further — by trading for Jets running back Breece Hall.
Hall, a versatile and explosive dual-threat back, would be a perfect fit in Denver’s offense, Scataglia argues. Pairing Hall with Harvey would create a strong one-two punch in the backfield, making it tough for opposing defenses and easing the pressure on rookie quarterback Bo Nix.
Although Hall has played well for the New York Jets over the past two seasons, the team may be ready to move on. With a new coaching staff looking to use a running back committee and rookie Braelon Allen waiting in the wings, Hall’s role could shrink. He’s also set to become a free agent in 2026, making a trade more likely.
Despite playing behind a weak offensive line, Hall has posted over 1,300 scrimmage yards in each of the last two seasons. His production and pass-catching ability could give Denver’s offense a major boost.
While not a superstar, Hall would bring speed, versatility, and playmaking — exactly what the Broncos need to help Bo Nix succeed and to build a more dynamic offense under Sean Payton.
