Malaki Starks Inks Four-Year Rookie Deal with Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have secured one of college football’s top defensive prospects, officially signing Georgia All-American Malaki Starks to a four-year, $16.5 million rookie contract on Thursday. The Ravens managed to land the standout defensive back without trading up or giving up additional draft capital.
Starks is expected to slot into a versatile and talented secondary that includes All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton and Ar’Darius Washington, who is working his way back from an Achilles injury. Washington brings flexibility at both safety and nickel, while Marlon Humphrey remains a key piece on the outside and in the slot. Newly acquired corners Nate Wiggins and Chidobe Awuzie will also bolster the perimeter.
During his three seasons at Georgia, Starks totaled 197 tackles, 17 pass breakups, and six interceptions. In 2024, he logged 77 tackles, four tackles for loss, and one interception, earning All-American honors in 2023 for his standout performance.
