In a powerful act of philanthropy, Marcus Mariota, celebrated Oregon Ducks quarterback and NFL veteran, is investing $12.6 million to transform a property into a sanctuary for homeless youth in Oregon, addressing a critical social challenge.

The property, located in the Portland metro area, was acquired earlier this year and is being renovated to house dozens of young people aged 16–24.
