Pacific Northwest Elite Star Commits to Oregon State Football

A three-star prospect from the Pacific Northwest is set to join Oregon State football.

Lance McGee, a standout from Davis High School in Yakima, Washington, announced his commitment to the Beavers on Friday. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound athlete played both linebacker and running back during his high school career.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, McGee ranks as the No. 7 overall player in Washington and the No. 56 athlete nationally. He made an official visit to Corvallis in mid-May.

McGee chose Oregon State over offers from four future Pac-12 programs: Boise State, Colorado State, San Diego State, and Washington State. He also received an offer from Memphis but ultimately committed to the Beavers.

He becomes the sixth verbal commit in Oregon State’s 2026 recruiting class, joining fellow three-stars: quarterback Deagan Rose (Davis, CA), wide receiver Cynai Thomas (San Francisco, CA), edge rusher Adel Dorr (Issaquah, WA), defensive lineman Noah Tishendorf (Lake Oswego, OR), and running back Braylon Tolliver (Erie, CO).
