Michigan State’s streak of commitments from the 2026 recruiting class has now reached six consecutive days.
On Tuesday morning, three-star linebacker Adam Shaw — a double legacy — announced his commitment to the Spartans via social media.
Shaw made his decision following an official visit to East Lansing, shortly after decommitting from Rutgers.
Hailing from Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale, New Jersey, Adam Shaw is rated as the No. 21 prospect in New Jersey’s 2026 class and the No. 87 linebacker nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Shaw has strong ties to Michigan State — he’s the son of former Spartan All-American offensive tackle Scott Shaw, who played under Nick Saban in the 1990s, and Angela DiJames Shaw, a former MSU field hockey player.
