With training camp underway, the Trail Blazers are still determining their final 15-man roster for the upcoming season, as the lineup remains undecided.
To heighten competition for roster spots, the Blazers have added three new players at the start of training camp.
In other news, NBA insider Sean Highkin from The Rose Garden Report notes that the Blazers’ projected starting lineup has been ranked poorly. Among the three new signings, two have notable NBA experience, with one having played limited minutes in the playoffs for another team.
MarJon Beauchamp, initially drafted as a developmental wing by the Milwaukee Bucks, has been searching for a new team this offseason after playing for the Bucks, L.A. Clippers, and New York Knicks last season.
Liam Robbins, a center who was also with the Bucks last season, is now aiming to secure a spot on the Portland Trail Blazers‘ roster as training camp begins.
In other news, Blazers star Damian Lillard has shared an update on his return timeline from an Achilles injury.
Javonte Cooke, who has yet to play in the NBA, has been grinding in the G League. He is likely to return to the G League with the Blazers’ affiliate after training camp concludes.

The Portland Trail Blazers are unlikely to retain MarJon Beauchamp, Liam Robbins, or Javonte Cooke on their regular-season roster. Of the three, Beauchamp has the strongest chance of making the cut due to his previous NBA experience.
The Blazers are satisfied with their current roster, appreciating the blend of young talent and seasoned veterans they’ve assembled for the upcoming season.
However, it’s uncertain whether this roster can secure a playoff spot without Damian Lillard. The team’s goal is to reach the playoffs this season and make a significant impact next season when Lillard returns from his Achilles injury.
