Hudson Dunn, a 6-foot-1, 219-pound three-star linebacker from Liberty High School in Peoria, Arizona, verbally committed to the Minnesota Gophers. Despite his three-star rating, Dunn’s offer list rivals elite prospects, with programs like Oregon, Miami (FL), and Michigan in pursuit. As a junior, he recorded 57 tackles and 13.5 sacks, earning him the No. 581 national ranking in the 247Sports Composite.

Dunn is the first high school linebacker commit for Minnesota’s new linebackers coach, Mariano Sori-Marin, marking a significant recruiting win over powerhouses like Oregon and Michigan, where Dunn has official visits planned later this year. His official visit to Minnesota is set for May 30. As the third-highest-ranked recruit in Minnesota’s 2026 class, Dunn joins nine other verbal commits, bolstering a promising group.
