Nebraska Football Makes Final Four for 2026 Four-Star CB Camren Hamiel
On Friday, 2026 four-star cornerback Camren Hamiel announced via social media that Nebraska is one of the final four schools he’s considering. He’s currently ranked No. 263 nationally, the 24th-best cornerback, and the top prospect out of Arizona in the 2026 class, according to On3.
Joining Nebraska in Hamiel’s top four are Oregon, Texas A&M, and Penn State.
Hamiel has a packed summer of visits lined up:
- Penn State: May 16–18
- Nebraska: June 6–8
- Oregon: June 13–15
- Texas A&M: June 20–22
A proven defensive standout, Hamiel played in 12 games last season, racking up 50 tackles, three interceptions (returned for 51 yards), and three pass breakups, according to MaxPreps. Known for his playmaking ability and instinct, he would be a valuable addition to Nebraska’s evolving secondary unit, which is already focused on adding high-impact talent.
All eyes will be on how Hamiel’s visit to Lincoln goes, as Nebraska looks to make a strong impression in the battle for his commitment.
