At Oregon State, each recruiting class stands out, yet they all share a common thread: the Beaver State.
This week, the Oregon State football program unveiled two youth football camps set for June 1 at Reser Stadium, reinforcing their commitment to in-state talent. One camp will hone the skills of specialists—punters, kickers, and long snappers—while the other will cover all other positions, featuring drills like the 40-yard dash, shuttle, and broad jump.
Both camps provide hands-on coaching from Oregon State staff and one-on-one competition to sharpen skills. Oregon’s vast landscape and limited airports beyond the I-5 Corridor make in-person scouting challenging, so these camps are vital for uncovering hidden talent.
Open to high schoolers in grades 9-12 and junior college athletes through their sophomore year, registration is available online at the Oregon State athletics website until May 30.
The Beavers have a strong track record of recruiting locally, with current standouts like linebacker Dexter Foster (Central Catholic HS, Portland), wide receiver Darrius Clemons (Westview HS, Beaverton), long snapper Jackson Robertson (South Medford HS, Medford), and guard Tyler Voltin (Regis Catholic HS, Stayton). Many in-state prospects are expected to attend.
