Locked In: Four-Star LB Doubles Down on Oregon Commitment

One of Oregon’s top verbal pledges in the 2026 recruiting class recently spent an extended visit in Eugene to get a closer look at his future home. Four-star linebacker Tristan Phillips was on campus over Mother’s Day weekend, where he deepened his connection with the coaching staff and reaffirmed his commitment to the reigning Big Ten champions.

“What stood out the most was the culture, the development, and everything the program and school have to offer,” Phillips said of his latest unofficial visit. “I spent a lot of time with Zack Diles and Coach Brian Michalowski. I also broke down film with Coach B and Mike, which really helped grow my football IQ.”
