Winter Garden (Fla.) The First Academy standout Devin Jackson, a four-star safety, remains one of the most sought-after prospects in the 2025 recruiting class, with several high-profile programs actively pursuing him.
Ranked among the top 25 safeties nationally, Jackson is entering a pivotal offseason phase and has finalized his official visit schedule for the summer.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Florida native will take four official visits, beginning with LSU. Brian Kelly and his staff will host Jackson in Baton Rouge starting May 30 for a multi-day visit.
Following his trip to LSU, Jackson will head to Miami on June 6, Oregon on June 13, and Nebraska on June 20 as his recruitment continues to heat up.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound defender, previously committed to the Florida Gators for nearly 10 months, reopened his recruitment, triggering a wave of renewed interest from top programs across the country. LSU wasted no time jumping into the mix, aiming to set the tone by hosting Jackson on the first visit of the summer, starting May 30 in Baton Rouge.
With Miami, Oregon, and Nebraska also lined up for June visits, Jackson has become one of the most sought-after uncommitted defensive backs in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
On3 Sports analyst Cody Bellaire praised Jackson’s development, highlighting his standout performances on the camp and 7-on-7 circuits this spring:
“He appears to have gained more muscle mass throughout his frame and has become a much more explosive athlete because of it. But the best part of this is that he has retained his loose hips and fluidity and looked very impressive in man coverage as a corner during 7-on-7.”
Jackson’s film shows a physical, instinctive safety who thrives around the line of scrimmage as a tackler, now complementing that physicality with improved coverage skills—making him a complete defensive back and a priority target for several national powers.
