Seven individuals were apprehended, and 44 were removed from the Gators football game against the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday night, according to the University of Florida Police Department. Of the arrests, two individuals were taken into custody for trespassing after being warned, three for assaulting law enforcement officers, and two for trespassing without prior warnings.

Alexander Munson, a 22-year-old from Tampa, and 21-year-old Spencer Williams from Virginia were arrested for trespassing after entering the field, disregarding announcements prohibiting fans from doing so. Additionally, 19-year-old Charleston Davidson from Ponte Verda Beach was ejected for disorderly conduct and intoxication. Despite receiving a verbal trespass warning and being escorted out of gate 13, Davidson was later spotted in section 37 and subsequently arrested for trespassing.

Efforts to remove 22-year-old Dawson Lincecum of Perry from the stadium for vaping resulted in a physical altercation when he became confrontational and attempted to attack officers. In the midst of the altercation, his mother, 56-year-old Pamela Lincecum, intervened by grabbing an officer’s vest and kneeing him multiple times in the right thigh area.

Another ejection involved 21-year-old Macie Sousa from Gainesville, who was removed for disorderly conduct and intoxication. Despite being issued a verbal trespass warning and escorted out of gate 13, Sousa was later found in section 24 and subsequently arrested for trespassing.

The reasons for ejections included disorderly conduct (15), intoxicated persons (8), entering the field (2), smoking (2), wrong section (8), alcohol possession (4), ticket swapping (2), with 14 of the individuals being University of Florida students.
