“SOMEONE IS GETTING SUPER SOLDIER MILK”: SERENA WILLIAMS DONATES HER BREAST MILK TO MOTHERS IN NEED WHILE ON NEW YORK TRIP

Former world number one Serena Williams made a generous contribution during her recent visit to New York by donating surplus breast milk to mothers in need. The 42-year-old tennis icon shared this altruistic act on her official Instagram account, expressing her excitement about the opportunity to help others.

In a video posted on Instagram, Serena stated, “I’m really thrilled to donate some extra breast milk from my New York trip to people who truly need it. It’s going to be an anonymous donation, but I am incredibly excited.” She explained that after her trip to New York, she had leftover breast milk, and instead of taking it home, she went through a screening process to facilitate the donation. Serena acknowledged the challenges faced by women who adopt or are unable to produce milk and emphasized the positive impact of her contribution. She humorously added, “BTW, someone out there is getting some super soldier milk.”

 

Serena Williams, widely recognized as one of the greatest players in the history of women’s singles tennis in the Open era, concluded her illustrious career in September of the previous year due to persistent fitness concerns. With an impressive tally of 23 Grand Slam titles, she particularly excelled at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, triumphing seven times at each prestigious tournament.
