The Dolphins and Odell Beckham Jr. have officially joined forces.
On Wednesday morning, Miami announced that they’ve signed Beckham, sharing images of him signing the contract on social media.
Last Friday, Beckham and the Dolphins reportedly agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $8.25 million for the 2024 season.
After sitting out the entire 2022 season due to a torn ACL suffered in Super Bowl LVI with the Rams, Beckham played in 14 games for the Ravens last season, starting six. He caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns in the regular season, along with four receptions for 34 yards in two playoff games.
Beckham, 31, has accumulated 566 catches for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns in 110 games, playing for the Giants, Browns, Rams, and Ravens.
Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice, already facing eight felony charges for a multi-car crash on March 30, is now under investigation for allegedly hitting a photographer at a Dallas nightclub on Monday night, as reported by WFAA.
According to the TV station, Dallas police are interviewing witnesses after an incident at Lit Kitchen.
Rice’s availability for this season was already in question after he was involved in a high-speed crash on a Dallas highway, causing a six-vehicle accident. Two victims have filed a civil suit against Rice and suspended SMU cornerback Teddy Knox, who was also speeding in Rice’s Chevrolet Corvette when he lost control and crashed.
Rice could face consequences under the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy.
During draft weekend, Commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the NFL will allow the legal process to proceed with Rice, although the recent incident might alter that stance.
An NFL spokesman declined to comment on Tuesday.
Rice has been training with Patrick Mahomes near Fort Worth, Texas, and attending virtual meetings with the team. The Chiefs will have to decide by May 20 whether Rice can participate in practices at the team facility.
To cover their bases, the Chiefs traded up in the first round to pick Texas receiver Xavier Worthy after signing veteran receiver Marquise Hollywood Brown in free agency.
Rice led the team’s wide receivers last season as a rookie, with 938 yards and seven touchdowns on 79 receptions.
