OFFICIALLY: Offensive lineman pledges commitment to Minnesota Football for 2025

Minnesota’s highly anticipated “Summer Splash” official visit weekends, orchestrated by PJ Fleck, are set to take place this weekend and the next. Ahead of this event, the Gophers already secured commitments from eleven players,

including notable names like quarterback Jackson Kollock from California, running back Grant Washington from Ohio, wide receiver Cameron Begalle from Andover, tight end Cross Nimmo from Ohio, defensive lineman Torin Pettaway and Rhett Hlavacka from Wisconsin, rush end Emmanuel Karmo from Cooper, defensive end Colin Hansen from Byron, defensive lineman Enoch Atewogbola from Indiana, linebacker Ethan Stendel from Caledonia, and defensive back Zachry Harden from Georgia.

Looking to further bolster their recruiting efforts as they head into June, the Gophers have just received a verbal commitment from Zac Stascausky, an offensive lineman hailing from Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic.

Zac Stascausky, Central Catholic, Offensive Tackle

Ranked as the fifth-best player in Oregon, Stascausky had offers from a range of notable schools including UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, California, Boise State, Oregon State, and Washington State.

Given the impending departures of Tyler Cooper and Quinn Carroll due to graduation, along with the likelihood of left tackle Aireontae Ersery pursuing an NFL career after the season, it’s expected that Brian Callahan will prioritize recruiting multiple linemen for this class. Stascausky’s gameplay demonstrates impressive agility, particularly in his role as left tackle, showcasing both mobility and aggression in the run game, qualities that have garnered admiration from Callahan.
