Rocco Spindler is a game-changer for Nebraska! Ranked as one of the top three interior offensive linemen in the portal, he brings a wealth of experience with 23 starts at Notre Dame over the past two seasons. Whether at center, left guard, or right guard, Spindler’s versatility will be a huge boost for the Cornhuskers as they work to protect QB Dylan Raiola in 2025.

Raiola had an up-and-down freshman year, but his leadership helped Nebraska secure a bowl berth and a win over Boston College, finishing at 7-6. Spindler, with one year of eligibility left, also comes off a 2024 Notre Dame squad that made it to the College Football Playoff championship, where they fell to Ohio State. His experience and skill set will play a critical role in Nebraska’s offensive line next season.

Nebraska football made a bowl game in 2024 for the first time since 2016, ending a lengthy drought that fans aren’t exactly used to. The Cornhuskers’ glory days, when they were winning national championships under Tom Osborne, feel like a distant memory. But with the team getting back to postseason play, there’s hope for a new era of success on the horizon.
