Sunderland’s Dennis Cirkin has affirmed that the team is not dwelling on Birmingham City’s recent alterations in management. Despite Birmingham undergoing managerial changes and securing their first point under Wayne Rooney, Cirkin emphasized that Sunderland is unfazed.

Having reversed their fortunes with four points in the last two matches after a string of three consecutive defeats, Sunderland is concentrating on their own performance. Cirkin expressed the team’s dedication to analyzing Birmingham City before the upcoming match and is resolute in showcasing their quality in front of the Stadium of Light supporters this weekend.

“We do not really look too much into that; we just look at the game and what we can do”, Cirkin told Sunderland’s media.

“Obviously, we study the opponent a little, but you know, at the end of the day, that is what we can do

“And we know that when we are at the Stadium of Light, we have so much quality and we have to turn up and give it our best shot.”

Cirkin has not started a game since September and all eyes will be on him to see whether Mowbray will hand him an opportunity in the starting eleven.
