A Collingswood man was shot to death in Camden late Thursday, Camden County law enforcement officials reported.
Terrell Jackson, 33, was found dead on the street in the 1700 block of South Seventh Street shortly before 11. The county Prosecutor’s Office said it was investigating and had made no arrests.
Jackson, nicknamed “Big Bacon,” was the 12th homicide in Camden this year, which has had a significantly higher incidence of homicides than last year. On this date last year there had been eight killings in the city, which saw a record 67 homicides by year’s end.
Jackson’s is also the 15th homicide in Camden County this year, according to officials. – David O’Reilly
