LSU’s offensive line coach, Brad Davis, is rapidly transforming the Tigers’ offensive line by securing an impressive group of recruits during the Early Signing Period. As the mastermind behind the Joe Moore Award finalist LSU offensive line, Davis is constructing a talented and star-studded unit for the long term. Working closely with head coach Brian Kelly, Davis has excelled on the recruiting trail, with six linemen officially committing to LSU in this latest haul.

The Offensive Line Recruits:

1. Weston Davis (5-Star):
– A two-sport standout at Beaumont (Texas) United and one of the nation’s premier offensive line prospects.
– Recognized with 5 stars from On3 and 4 stars by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports.
– Noteworthy achievements include being named First-Team Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold as a junior in 2022 and contributing to his team’s impressive rushing statistics in 2023.
– A relatively new addition to football, having started playing in his sophomore high school season.

2. Coen Echols (4-Star)
– Ranked as the No. 6 interior offensive lineman in the nation, Echols chose LSU over other competitive programs.
– Despite a competitive recruitment process, LSU gained momentum after Echols’ official visit to Baton Rouge.
– Originally committed to Texas A&M, Echols ultimately pledged his commitment to LSU following a successful visit to Death Valley.

3. Ethan Calloway (4-Star):
– A 4-star recruit ranked as the No. 12 offensive tackle nationally and No. 4 overall in North Carolina.
– Contributed to his high school’s playoff appearances and impressive offensive statistics.
– Played a key role in helping his team achieve a 9-2 record in his senior year and earned First-Team All-State honors in 2023.

4. Ory Williams (3-Star):
– Considered one of the top offensive line prospects nationally, Williams is rated with 3 stars in the On3 composite.
– Played a crucial role in his team’s ground game, paving the way for an offense that averaged 220 yards rushing per game.
– A relatively new player to football, Williams has only played two seasons of varsity football.

5. Joseph Cryer (Coveted Louisiana Prospect):
– One of the top offensive line prospects in Louisiana, Cryer is rated No. 28 overall in the state and No. 68 nationally among interior linemen in the On3 composite.
– A 3-star recruit with notable achievements, including winning the Louisiana Division III non-select state title in 2022 with Many High School.

6. Khayree Lee (Top Louisiana Lineman):
– A 3-star top offensive line prospect from John Ehret High School in New Orleans.
– Ranked as the nation’s No. 47 interior offensive line prospect by the On3 composite.
– Played a key role in his team’s playoff berth in 2023, posting a 7-4 regular season record and a 3-1 record in 5A District 8.
