In a graphic shared on his Twitter account, Jeudy-Lally expressed his gratitude and reflections on his journey:

“What an incredible journey it has been. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, coaches, and the higher power for granting me the opportunity and support to engage in this extraordinary game.

“If, as a five-year-old living in New York City, you had foretold this future, I would have found it hard to believe. Every journey, however, unfolds uniquely, and therein lies its beauty. Three schools, two degrees, and five years later, numerous memories and bonds have been forged throughout the entire process, and I will hold them dear forever.

“I extend a special thank you to my mom and stepdad for enabling me to be in this position today. My mom, known for her tireless efforts, dedicated countless hours to afford me the chance to play the game I love and obtain the best education simultaneously. I can never repay her for her unwavering commitment and being the ultimate friend and mentor. To my stepdad, thank you for believing in a slender youngster, urging me to partake in sports, and sacrificing your time to fulfill all my aspirations.

“To all my coaches along the way, I appreciate your constant encouragement, irrespective of circumstances. To my childhood coaches, you laid the groundwork for me to start achieving my aspirations. To my high school position coach, thank you for being both a mentor and family when needed. You instilled confidence in me when, at times, it wavered. Lastly, to all my college coaches, thank you for trusting me not only to make plays on the field but also to lead those around me.

“To my family and friends, THANK YOU. Your unwavering support means the world to me. Regardless of outcomes or moments, your love was constant, especially during my lowest points.

“To all my teammates, I value each of you more than words can convey. Past and present, know that the love is enduring, and you will forever be my brothers.

“To the most incredible fan base in the country! Thank you for the unwavering support, cheers, and packed stadiums throughout the year. Opting for Tennessee has genuinely been a blessing and one of the best decisions of my life. Although this may conclude the current journey with all of you, understand that it’s GBO (Go Big Orange) ’til I die!”
