For Kalen DeBoer, the new coach, this is a huge win. After learning about Nick Saban’s retirement, Williams decommitted, and Auburn and Texas took it hard. He cancelled his planned visit to the 40 acres, as we found out last night, but he still had a pesky visit to Auburn scheduled for February 2.
Ryan seemed to have made the decision to stop doing everything and go to The Capstone. Praise go to Jaylen Mbakwe, another five-star, and Roll Tide Willie, who spent a great deal of time with Ryan during his most recent official visit.
