Under the terms of the agreement, Fubo will offer live streaming coverage of MLB teams the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals.
In anticipation of the MLB season opener, MASN will be accessible to Fubo subscribers in a seven-state area, offering over 500 live events on the streaming service.
Fubo will present MASN’s comprehensive coverage of all available games featuring the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals, including pre-game and postgame analysis. Additionally, Fubo will feature NCAA Division I men’s and women’s sports.
Before this collaboration, Fubo already hosted MLB.TV, MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, regional sports networks (RSNs), local broadcast networks, ESPN, and FS1.
Todd Mathers, Fubo’s senior vice president of content strategy and acquisition, expressed pride in Fubo’s role as a hub for local sports and emphasized that the addition of MASN will enhance access for fans of the Orioles and Nationals in the 2024 MLB season across the mid-Atlantic region.
John McGuinness, senior vice president of MASN, conveyed excitement about the partnership with Fubo, seeing it as an opportunity to offer Orioles and Nationals fans a new way to engage with their favorite teams in their television territory, spanning seven states. McGuinness also recognized Fubo as a prominent sports media platform and anticipated reaching a broader audience through this collaboration.
