TULIA, Texas (KFDA) – Authorities in Tulia are probing a homicide following a fatal stabbing incident on Tuesday night.
According to reports, the Tulia Police Department received reports of a disturbance on S. Dallas Avenue around 10:56 p.m. on March 19.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that one individual had sustained stab wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts and dispatching an ambulance, the victim succumbed to their injuries.
Police have apprehended a suspect, who is currently detained on a murder charge at the Swisher County Jail.
The Texas Rangers have been summoned to aid in the ongoing investigation.
