The Memphis Grizzlies continue to expand their roster this season, announcing another new addition to their team on Tuesday. In an official statement, the Grizzlies disclosed the signing of guard Zavier Simpson to a second 10-day contract and wing Jack White to a 10-day contract. The specific terms of the deals were not revealed, following team policy.

Regarding Simpson, who has already been part of the organization, the Grizzlies noted his re-signing for a second 10-day contract. Meanwhile, White’s signing marks a fresh addition to the team. The Grizzlies provided details on White, who most recently played for the South Bay Lakers:

“White, standing at 6 feet 7 inches and weighing 225 pounds, participated in 29 games (23 as a starter) for the South Bay Lakers during both showcase and regular seasons. He averaged 9.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 26.2 minutes per game. The 26-year-old, who went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Duke University, previously signed a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets ahead of the 2022-23 season. He appeared in 17 NBA games for the Nuggets and played 14 games for the Grand Rapids Gold in the NBA G League. Originally from Victoria, Australia, White spent three seasons playing professionally in the Australian NBL. During the 2021-22 season, he averaged 9.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in 23.4 minutes for Melbourne United.”
