Martin Brundle expressed disappointment with Red Bull’s dominant performance at the Japanese Grand Prix, stating that it saddened him to see the lack of competition at the front of the grid. Despite hopes that other teams, particularly Ferrari, could challenge Red Bull after their absence from the podium in Melbourne, Red Bull easily secured a one-two finish in Japan. Brundle had anticipated a closer battle but acknowledged that the nature of the Suzuka circuit favored Red Bull’s strengths.
