Just In: Four-Star Quarterback Criticizes Ohio State’s Culture After Committing To Michigan

Brady Hart announced on Tuesday that he will play college football at the University of Michigan. Less than 48 hours later, he criticized Ohio State.

The rivalry is intense!
Hart, a four-star quarterback from Indialantic, Florida, plays for Cocoa High School. He is ranked among the top 10 players at his position in the Class of 2026 and is considered a top-200 recruit overall, with some rankings placing him even higher.

His sophomore year highlight reel is impressive, featuring a 65% completion rate, 3,759 passing yards, 41 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Cocoa achieved a 14-1 record and a state championship in his first year as the starting quarterback.

Brady Hart is a jokester!

The Wolverines and Buckeyes are two of the biggest rivals in all of sports, with intense animosity between them.

Hart is already fueling the rivalry.

The day before committing to Michigan, Hart posted about his offer from Ohio State, choosing a very specific photo: one of Kyle McCord about to be tackled in the end zone at The Big House during last year’s edition of The Game.

And then Hart committed to the Maize and Blue!

As if that wasn’t bold enough, Hart also criticized the culture in Columbus while explaining his decision to E.J. Holland of The Wolverine. His remarks were anything but subtle.

When I walked out of Ohio State, I realized the culture that Michigan has isn’t everywhere.

Pow pow!

Hart made an unofficial visit to Ohio State in March, followed by another on June 17th, two days after an unofficial visit to Michigan. He announced his commitment to Michigan on June 18th.

Buckeye fans found Hart’s comments tasteless, arguing that he never took a “real” visit, while Wolverines fans found them amusing and are clearly happy to have him.

Although there’s a long way to go in Hart’s college football recruitment and other schools like Miami, Notre Dame, and Clemson are still in the mix, he seems firmly committed to Michigan and has made it clear he is not considering Ohio State.

It would certainly be awkward if Brady Hart were to flip his commitment!
