We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Rajpal Brar, our exclusive columnist specializing in injuries. Each week, he will provide insights into the injury landscape at West Brom.

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, West Brom’s attacking midfielder, Jed Wallace, is set to be part of the lineup against Leeds United. Brar asserts that ample time has passed since Wallace’s shoulder injury, and he could now be operating at full capacity.

Having started in matches against Stoke, Middlesbrough, and Norwich City, the 29-year-old appears to have fully recovered. In an exclusive conversation with West Brom News, Dr. Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Science, stated:

West Brom: Jed Wallace provides injury news in fresh 'serious' update

“It was very doubtful that he would’ve been back to 100 per cent in the first game, as that usually requires more than one match, but he has since played three games, one of which was the full 90 minutes, so he could be there now. Based on the fact it was a shoulder injury, he was likely able to maintain his fitness much easier than a lower-body injury.

“The club will continue to monitor how he responds to minutes to avoid any other issues, but he should be available for the upcoming games.“

Carlos Corberan has consistently relied on Wallace’s leadership, and whenever fit, the 29-year-old has been included in the starting eleven. Despite making two league appearances off the bench this season, it’s suggested that he might not have been at 100 per cent for those games.

West Brom is set to face Leeds at the Hawthorns on December 29, and Wallace is expected to feature in the starting eleven.

In other West Brom news, the club may face the necessity of selling a key player in January, given a ‘significant’ update on the financial situation at the club.
