According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there are reports indicating that AC Milan’s management is open to the idea of selling Krunic, a player Coach Pioli has been utilizing less frequently. However, they have communicated to his representatives that a fair offer needs to be presented.

Fenerbahçe has expressed interest in Krunic for some time, having tempted him with a generous salary offer (€3.5m net per season) during the summer. Although the Turkish club is poised to make another attempt, reaching an agreement with Milan on the transfer fee remains a crucial step.

During the previous summer, the deal fell through as Fenerbahce’s offer was deemed too low. Meanwhile, Milan initiated contract renewal talks with Krunic, whose current deal expires in 2025. However, negotiations stalled due to the player’s high salary demands.

If Krunic is sold, AC Milan will need a replacement, especially with Tommaso Pobega out of action for several months and Ismael Bennacer set to participate in the African Cup of Nations in January. This has reignited interest in Hamed Traoré, a former Sassuolo midfielder now playing for Bournemouth. Milan had closely followed Traoré’s performances in Serie A, where he primarily operated as a playmaker or winger. However, competition for his signature has emerged from Napoli.
