One of the key prospects Florida State is actively pursuing, regardless of their playing position, is Daylan McCutcheon, a four-star wide receiver from Lovejoy, Texas. In the initial stages of his recruitment, the Seminoles find themselves in competition with prominent programs such as Ohio State, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, USC, and UCLA.
Despite the considerable distance between Florida State and McCutcheon’s hometown, the wide receiver has made two visits to Tallahassee in the past year and also attended FSU’s season opener against LSU in Orlando last September. McCutcheon expresses a sense of comfort when around head coach Mike Norvell and the coaching staff during his visits to the campus.
