Rams outside linebacker Michael Hoecht has accepted his restricted free agent tender. The tender, classified as a right of first refusal, was placed on Hoecht by the Rams on March 13 and spans one year with a minimum value of $2,985,000, as per an NFL announcement.

At 26 years old, Hoecht experienced a standout season in 2023, achieving personal bests in sacks (6) and total tackles (81) while starting in all 17 regular season games as well as the Rams’ wild-card playoff match against the Lions. Last season marked Hoecht’s transition to playing outside linebacker full-time, following his switch from the defensive line late in the 2022 season.

Throughout his three seasons with the Rams since joining them as an undrafted free agent from Brown in 2021, Hoecht has amassed 10.5 sacks, 124 total tackles, 20 QB hits, and two forced fumbles across 51 games played, including 26 starts.
