We enjoyed watching Jaylen Blakes represent Duke, though he struggled to carve out his specific role on the team. Nonetheless, his relentless effort on the court always sparked action, creating a whirlwind of excitement.

However, next season, the chaos Blakes brings will be seen elsewhere, as he, along with Christian Reeves and Mark Mitchell, will be transferring. Reeves made his transfer plans public via Instagram last Saturday. As a graduate transfer, he may have the opportunity to play for two more seasons, though it’s uncertain how the Covid bonus season factors in.

Wherever Reeves lands, his defensive prowess is sure to make a positive impact, even though he may have some limitations on the offensive end. We hope he finds a team where his defensive skills can truly shine.

Although not confirmed, there’s speculation that Mitchell might be joining Kansas State.
