She earned her second All-Pac-12 selection and secured a spot on the third-team AP All-American roster. In her video message, Beers reflected on her journey, emphasizing the value of hard work and passion for the game. She expressed her eagerness to embrace Oklahoma’s culture of competitiveness and love for basketball. Despite her humble origins, Beers declared herself a proud Sooner at heart.

With two seasons of eligibility left, Beers joins the Sooners, who clinched their second consecutive Big 12 regular-season title. However, the team faces a new challenge as they transition to the SEC, where they’ll contend with formidable opponents like South Carolina and LSU, recent national champions. Under coach Jennie Baranczyk, Oklahoma has secured three straight NCAA Tournament berths but hasn’t advanced beyond the Round of 32 in that span.

Beers adds her impressive freshman and sophomore stats to the mix, having averaged 13.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in her debut season, earning her accolades as Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and Pac-12 Sixth Player of the Year. She further bolstered her performance this past season, aiding Oregon State in reaching the Elite 8 before falling to South Carolina.
