Yesterday, I discussed how Denver Broncos fans generally view the team as winners of the 2024 NFL Draft. In the same SB Nation Reacts survey, I also inquired about which undrafted free agents Broncos fans are most eager to see in training camp this year. Leading the pack with 44% of the vote is Memphis running back Blake Watson.

While Blake Watson was one of our top three Broncos UDFA prospects to keep an eye on, Wyoming offensive lineman Frank Crum came in second on that list. It’s reasonable to infer that the selection of Notre Dame’s Audric Estimé and the addition of Watson inject new energy into the 2023 running back lineup. While I believe Javonte Williams is secure to play out the final year of his rookie contract, both Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin will likely need to outperform these two rookies in camp to retain their positions this year.

Regarding Crum, the Broncos once again didn’t draft any offensive tackles this year and haven’t done so since Garett Bolles in 2017. If Crum, who stands at 6’8” and weighs 313 pounds, can develop into a starter-level player, it might spare Denver from needing to invest more draft picks on tackles in the future, particularly if Bolles moves on at some point.

To conclude, 9% of fans voted ‘other’. If you were among those who selected ‘other’ in this survey last week, please share in the comments section below which undrafted free agent from the Broncos class you’re most excited to see in training camp this year.
